| When professor Larry Morton takes a drunken misstep into a dark alley and comes face to face with Al Fletcher, he mistakenly thinks that he is about to get beat up. Al tries to help Larry home, but Larry doesn't make it easy. The next day when Larry learns to the truth he hunts down Al to apologize and thank him. The physical attraction is undeniable. But can the two men get past that and what society thinks to find a lasting love?
This was a humorous story and that is very likeable, but was occasionally hard to follow as there was a lot of English slang thrown in. It is probably a lot easier to follow and enjoy if you are familiar with it, but if you are not, you lose some of the enjoyment trying to figure out what was meant. The characters of Larry and Al are sweet together, but Al doesn't quite come off as the poor dumb guy he is supposed to be, but they mesh well together. I especially enjoyed Al's family, his mother just made you smile whether you really understood her or not. There are plenty of steamy m/m on scenes in stories to add to the enjoyment. I think this would be a enjoyable way to pass some time this summer.
