Emmy thinks the sex intense, Dylan is an awesome lover. She tries to convince herself it’s just a one-night stand, until she realizes that she needs Dylan for more than just sex. That Dylan is the only one that can keep her alive now that Nicky knows about her and wants to kill her. She is also falling in love with a vampire and that worries her. Ms. Devlin’s take on the vampire world is unique and creative. There is loads of humor in this book, I found myself laughing out loud, often from the give and take of Emmy and Dylan. The heat in the scenes, especially the biting scenes, is intense I found myself on the edge of my seat several times and wanting to find my own vampire. The characters are so humorous and sexy, even the secondary characters like Dylan's friend Quentin. I hope in the future we get Quentin’s story from Ms. Devlin as we really get to know and care about him.
