| Logan Anderson is running from the law and his own brother. He finds an almost deserted bar and a lovely bartender to keep him company for a brief respite. The eroticism between the two is fun but they both sense a hint of déjà vu and impending disaster. They’re so sure that they’ve known one another before but it’s not until they run for their lives that the past catches up to them.
L. Shannon builds a great romance with frequent hints that all may not be as it seems. The reader as well as the characters gets the feeling something will be revealed that will spoil what Logan and Sherry are building on their Christmas Eve of love. Ms. Shannon gives them and the reader a great night of romance before revealing the secret to their feelings of having known one another for longer than one night. Sherry is much more adventuresome than Logan and seems to take their fate in stride looking on the bright side as he sees only the negatives. This is a well crafted tale with characters cast from a different mold than your typical hero and heroine.
