My Love Eternal is a violent story. The author's take on vampires is quite heartless where feeding is concerned. Even though Ms. Strange's attempts to make the act of killing to feed seem less evil, it is still somewhat disturbing in its graphic nature. The story was interesting, with a good romance. A love to last forever is every girl's fantasy, in theory. The characters were all well written, and it really has quite an imaginative cast. From the sweet Rachel to the sexy Giovanni, each one stays in character throughout the whole novel. The story takes you through several years of their lives. Throughout the story, the reader is taken deep into the thoughts and feelings of both Rachel and her sexy vampire, Giovanni. This book would definitely not be for the faint of heart. Even though this story is not exactly my cup of tea, if your tastes go more to the darker side of life, this book might be perfect for you. So if you like to read a vampire novel that is not sugar coated, this is for you.
