Warrick and Karrick have been searching for Lorran for a long time. She has the most unusual magic in their world, the magic of neutral Iede, a powder that is generated by sex, among other things. She may be the only one that can handle both of their energies at the same time, and they are not about to let her get away. Lorran has been promised to them, and they are hoping that she is their destined mate. She's been told a lot of lies about them, and in order to set her straight they may have to do some pretty unusual things to get her to listen.

There is a lot going on in this story, and if you haven't read the other two in this series you may end up a little lost if you try to read this one by itself. It's definitely part of a series, and in order to understand the relationship between the characters it's best to read all of them. Lorran is thrown into a situation that most people wouldn't be able to cope with, and she turns out to be a strong person that can handle almost anything. Warrick and Karrick start out as being a little forceful and rough, but in the end you like them because they grow into their characters. There is some bondage and multiple partners in this story, and there is a lot sizzling hot sex. If you want to try something a little different, give Mystic Keepers: Lorran a try.
