Wynn is in Cielo following leads. He needs to find Julie and in turn, find out where her sister and brother-in-law are hiding and retrieve what they stole from his client. Wynn was not happy about his assignment, but for the sake of his family'd business, he has no choice. Things look up when he goes to a bar and meets Bonnie, spending the night with her. He knows she's hiding something and plans to find out. Could she be Julie? Wynn rents an apartment in the same complex as Bonnie and is determined to find out what she's hiding. Nailed in an interesting and amusing novel. Amie Stuart has an unusual style of writing that I found a bit odd to start with. But I soon found myself laughing a lot at the dialogue and at the antics of the main characters. They were thoroughly entertaining and almost slapstick at times. This kept the book moving along smoothly and made it a rather enjoyable and fun story to read, I'm pleased I read this story as it brightened what had otherwise been a dismal day for me.
