This was a fun and adventurous read. Ciara is one witty heroine; she kept me snickering throughout the story. I felt as if I was caught up in her whirlwind adventure and experiencing everything right along with her. Nathan is a fabulously serious alpha hero and I love when we caught glimpses of him letting his guard down. Their chemistry is amazing; so subtle and sweet yet seriously steamy. I loved the location, I could almost feel the boardwalk under my feet, hear the tourists enjoying the booths and smell the ocean -- and I did get caught up in the casino fever right alongside Ciara! As a big fan of my own DVD player I loved the movie and television references. This is part of a series and although I hadn't read any of the others I did not feel as if I was missing any information. I did however want to find out about Karmic Consultants and cannot wait to read the previous offerings. This is one that I will read over and over again.
