| Stella and Paul were in college together. She wanted him, and he wanted her. Simple right? Wrong. Stella was already engaged to be married to another man. Several years later, they meet up again and when they do, both are free and the sparks fly.
I thought that the Ms. Dryden used a good twist on the 'old friends that get together after a long while' theme. Stella and Paul had a lot in common back then, and they still do. I have to applaud Ms. Dryden for the courage that she gave to both Stella and Paul: courage to face the past, to look to the future, to look at themselves, and to be willing to take another chance. The dialog was great, and totally believable. I loved the way the story flowed along with no snags whatsoever. I will definitely be reading this story again in the near future.
