| Ryan is a lone werewolf who lives with his lover Loyal, who’s a were-bear. They have a content life with Ryan working as a park ranger and living on their own in the peaceful outdoors. After being forced to leave their pack behind, Kamen, Steve, Sasha, Liam, Jenny, Colin & Myra have found a new home for their new pack. After being burned, both groups are hesitant to be around the other. But when Loyal is captured, Ryan has no one to turn to but the new pack.
Ms. Talbot knows how to pack a punch in her short stories. It has everything from light-hearted banter between friends, to mates protecting their pregnant female. It also has everything from male posturing, to love scenes that will singe your fingers. The action will keep you on your toes and the humor will have you snickering throughout. This is the forth in the series and it was great to see so many of the previous books’ characters back. Natural Selection is a fun, and easy read that will keep you interested through the end and will leave you wanting to read more stories about these fascinating shifters. There are plenty of male/male scenes, so if that is something you enjoy reading, then this is definitely the book for you.
