Kayla Robard and Kyle Winter were best friends. Nevertheless, there were differences: she did not like Christmas, but it was his favorite holiday. She only decorated her house and baked for him, to make him happy. With her long hair, her drain stopped up at least once a month, and, as a bribe to get him to clean it out for her, Kayla baked cookies for him. This cookies for hair routine was a tried and true ritual!

One Naughty Winter Night is a part of a trilogy which features the Winter boys from Texas. This Christmas, each would be on his own because, for the first time in their lives, their parents took a vacation cruise to celebrate their 40th wedding anniversary. That Kyle would not be going to Texas this year was both a surprise to Kayla and an astonishing happening as far as her own plans. Each of these best friends was in love with the other but too afraid to admit it for fear of rejection.

Ms. Ruth D. Kerce writes a very fast-paced, interesting story about two people who know all there is to know about each other. The story is very explicit and the sex is plentiful! I enjoyed the plot and Ms. Kerce’s style. She composes the novel in a way to catch the interest of all readers. She did not fail; I would definitely read other of her works. I recommend this story to everyone.
