Nauti Kisses by Lora Leigh
Sierra saves John's future by letting him know his fiancé was carrying on behind his back with his best friend. The night ends with John getting drunk and Sierra leaving town, not returning any of John's calls. One year later Sierra is attacked and John gets the chance to protect her. She can't run from him now, and John isn't one to let opportunities pass him by.

I can't believe this is the last Nauti book. Sure, they all follow the same basic plot but I just love every one of these books. I love the strong, alpha men who cherish woman and believe it's his job to protect the females even though the female is quite capable. This one is no exception. Sierra needs time to recuperate from her attack and John is going to make sure she is well protected. The sex is sizzling hot, the plot predictable but well written, the pacing even and the ending perfect. I loved the McKay reunion and can just imagine what their lives will be like 20 years from now when their babies grow up and are young women!

Riding the Edge by Jaci Burton
Ava is worried about her best friend. Her whole attitude has changed ever since she met and began dating a biker from the Hellraisers gang. Ava decides to go along with Lacey for bike week just to make sure she is OK. Ava's dad is worried about Ava's sudden interest in the biker gang suspected to illegal drugs so he hires somebody to protect her and find out just what her connection is to the gang. Rick dreaded the babysitting assignment until he got his first glimpse of Ava, then he had a hard time keeping his mind on the job.

Fast paced and full of action, Ava and Rick heat up the pages with their undeniable attraction to each other. Ava is smart and capable in the academic world but out of her element in the biker world. Rick fits in with the bikers since in his misspent youth he was one of them. Their attraction to each other deepens as they both realize something is not right about the gang and their activities. This plot is well written and developed in a way that you feel the relationship developing between Ava and Rick has a strong foundation. This book does have some explicit sex scenes including orgies, exhibitionism, and voyeurism. However, they flow with the plot and do not detract from the storyline.

Both stories in the anthology have an alpha male protecting his female even though she is not a weak heroine. The mildly suspenseful plots and explicit and erotic sex scenes make this anthology well worth reading.
