This story is the third in the Demon Next Door series and I have to admit I didn't enjoy it as much as the other two. I found the story to be rushed. There wasn't enough time for Navid and PJ to meet let alone fall in love before you got to the end of the story. I did enjoy Josee Renard's writing, I was still looking for just a little more story. The story flows easily between the two main characters as they describe the problems they have with their lives and what they think they want out of life. Then when they meet in the forest glade, PJ's attraction to Navid and his naivete about what the human world is really like brings a smile to your face. You have to wonder what PJ is going to say or do when she finds out that her new beau is actually a demon. But the abrupt end of the story doesn't give you an answer and you are kind of left hanging, wondering what happens next.
