Tia Vargas is Zack’s commanding officer. She makes life difficult for Zack who challenges her at every turn. When Zack’s tales of alien abduction are proved to be true they become part of a specialized team to stop the alien threat that call themselves the Anaz-voohri.

Anaz-voohri is an exciting and creative adventure that takes place on Earth. This is a frightening concept where the alien’s have targeted a group of children to abduct. The idea that someone out there is so much superior in technology comes to take over the Earth is scary in the fact that Earth is so vulnerable. This story will have readers questioning how well are we protected from such an invasion?

The dynamics in the relationship between Zack and Tia is interesting from the very beginning. Zack thinks she is fascinating and sexy but that she is also out to get him. He just can’t help himself when at times he really should just keep his mouth shut. When their relation begins to turn romantic the desire is mutual. Outside influences strive to keep them apart and will have the readers raging at the injustice.

Tia is an interesting character. She is an Amazon warrior who will accept nothing less that perfection in herself. Her story becomes frightening and she must fear for her life as well as love ones. For such a strong woman she is the one character that I sympathize for her ordeals and hidden vulnerability.

This is a fast paced story with a smooth flowing, well organized storyline. A storyline that is creative and frightening in its realism. Readers can lose themselves in this book with its intensity and not even be aware of their surroundings. So be sure to set aside a special time to read and add this latest is science fiction fantasy to your reading list, Anaz-voohri by Vijaya Schartz.
