Jason Doyle doesn't understand why the shy, nerdy guy in the accounting department catches his eye, but Spencer Whitfield certainly has. Put a little wine in the guy and Spencer soon opens up, revealing his true self. Jason soon discovers that beauty comes in all packages and getting to know Spencer is a real treat for him. Spencer's naïve innocent nature seems just the thing to make Jason think long-term for the first time ever. But Spencer has a little problem that soon turns in to a big problem. Can the two men's newly formed relationship survive a stalker hell bent on keeping them a part.

Obsessive Adhesive is what a good romance should be. Having all the necessary elements -- a newly forming relationship, an element of suspense, and the juicy parts aren't bad either -- this is a really great novel to escape with. The two main characters seem to be worlds apart but really have a lot more in common then they originally thought they did. What they have in common is unique enough to be believable, drawing the reader even farther into the story. Spencer is sweet and incredibly enduring, while Jason seems more confident and sure of himself. Both men are a wonderful mix and fun to read about. Who can resist a new relationship in its early stages? The suspenseful quality to the plot line only seems to add to the romantic part of the story. Although the "whodunit" part of the plotline is somewhat predictable, I found it to be tastefully crafted in with the romance. The suspense was not to overpowering, but seemed to carry the romance along at just the right pace. The writing team of Andy Slayde & Ali Wilde have certainly crafted a good romance novel, one well worth reading especially as the beach weather is upon us.
