| Stephanie "Stevie" Reynolds loves the sea, loves to explore and take
photographs, but when she discovers a drug cache her whole life changes. When
Stevie decides to do the right thing and testify against the drug lords, she
regrets her decision when her whole life is taken away. The FBI puts her in
protective custody, which feels like prison to her since she can't do the
things she loves. The mob is after her to kill her so she can't testify
against their boss.
When she escapes from everyone and goes out on the ocean, she sees a man under the sea that she learns is Adonis. Adonis follows her to get her camera back since she has taken photos of him and is forbidden for outsiders to know of the Atalantium's. When she gets to the dock the mob has found her and starts shooting at her Adonis saves her life, and lets her know that he is attracted to her. The FBI take her back into custody but Adonis follows her and they have the best sex that she has ever had. When the bad guys finally find her and take her out on the ocean to kill her, Adonis arrives and takes her to Atalantium to keep her safe. When she gets to Atalantium she is given the tests to see if she can stay. After the tests are conducted she finds out she is carrying Adonis' child. Then she has to decide if she wants the child, if she wishes to stay in Atalantium, and if she loves Adonis. This is Ms. Morin's second of three books about Atlantis. If you read her first book Bride of Atlantis then you would remember Adonis, who was banished. This book is Adonis' story, and takes place when his punishment is almost finished. This book is more erotic than the first. This series is very enjoyable and Ms. Morin has done an excellent job with her version of the Atlantis legend. This story is very hot and steamy. The attraction between Adonis and Stevie is very strong, and there is lots of adventure and humor. Looking forward very much to the next book in the series.
