Michael Levine wants Victrina for more than just a personal assistant and requires a blood oath because once she is in his employ it's dangerous for her to leave. Of course being a vampire has nothing to do with his business life, but after their one incredible night together he figures they might be better off on a strictly professional level. He never expects for Victrina to be such a threat to his strong will, but as time goes by, his will weakens and he can no longer fight his desires. This is a great book with plenty of mystery and deception. Victrina is a wonderful character that has a strong will and is determined to get her man. Michael tries to resist the attraction he has for Victrina, but it doesn't last very long before they are burning up the sheets together. To thicken the plot is Michael's former lover who is also a vampire and isn't willing to let him go. This book has everything paranormal lovers look for in a story and I recommend that they give this book a try.
