Never Let You Go features Marisa and Sam. Marisa is an administrative assistant for a British company and Sam has been hired by her company to train staff for several weeks. When his job ends and he has to return to the US, tragedy strikes. Sam is severely injured in a car accident. Marisa crosses an ocean to be there for him.

I looked forward to reading this because it had such a sweet premise. However, the story happened very quickly. I felt the author glossed over the time when Marisa and Sam built their relationship. Even the dialogue seemed rushed. I didn't have a real sense of who either of them were and then suddenly they were in bed together. The erotic scenes left me feeling a bit cold because I didn't sense any real chemistry between the characters. When Marisa's friend, Linda, joins them for an afternoon romp, the chemistry improves a bit. I did like the plot concept and I felt it was plotted well. The author definitely has talent. I'll be looking to see how he develops it.
