Wendy Davy
Inspirational romance

Adam Peyton had never gotten over his love for Cora Andrews. Unfortunately, Cora was the step-daughter of Adam's employer, Harry Steinbeck. Adam was head of the security department for Harry's company. Cora cut off her romance with Adam immediately when she found out he worked for her step-father.

Now, after some of his latest business dealings, Harry felt Cora might be in danger. He insisted that Adam accompany her on a scheduled cruise. Adam knew this would not be easy. He hated the necessity of being present when Harry informed Cora that Adam would be in a cabin across the hall from hers. No arguments allowed! After all, Harry was her “father” and he was Adam's boss.

This is not my first Wendy Davy book nor will it be my last. I admire her writing style. She includes inspirational tidbits throughout this story without being “preachy” or offensive to anyone. Her characters are multi-faceted and very likeable. Their underlying love for each other was evident. However, it was not obvious how the story would end. Was it possible for a happily-ever-after?

This fast-paced, highly emotional short book grabbed my attention from the first pages. I read it through in one sitting. I didn't want to stop reading. I highly recommend this book as one suitable for all. It is written so that even young readers will be enthralled.
