This story that author Renee Reeves gives us is daunting at times but still so uplifting. Both characters in this story have faced so many hardships and pain in their lives. But sometimes as humans we become strong through the many perils some of us have to face, And this book gives us some insight into the history of both Morgan and Nick. As a woman, I felt Morgan's pain and was filled with such rage that I wished her husband was real, I would have taken great delight in returning the favor of his treatment of Morgan. The intense feelings that Nick came to have for Morgan were beautiful and show just how much he had changed from the teenager who faced a life changing consequence to a man who turned his life around and showed genuine compassion and caring. And Morgan needed a man to showed her the patience and loving compassion that Nick showed in every way. The love that he showed her was touching but hot off the press and it added a truly good feeling to this book, making you cheer for both these humans who had faced so much anguish.
