The plot is lively and adventurous, a feast for fans who like the vampire genre. The author does a superb job of maintaining a high and deep level of sensuality and fire between Rafaela and her two men while still keeping the reader firmly engaged and vested in the story. Rafaela, Michael and Nico are well-rounded characters, full of energy and heat. The author quickly draws the reader into the connection and continues to turn up the sexiness as well as capturing the emotions and insecurities the characters have as the bond develops. Readers should be deliciously warned there is a lush and dark sensuality to the non-stop sensuous escapades between Rafaela and the two men who want nothing more than to please her. This author knows what erotica readers crave and she delivers it to perfection! The added deadly danger aspect adds depth and seems to bind the relationship. It is also wonderful that Ms. Devereaux has added fresh touches to the vampire persona for the reader's enjoyment. A surefire hit that merges chills with some decadent thrills!
