| Noelle is not the best witch in the coven but she studies hard to learn and improve her skills. Maybe that’s why Ella, her practical joker cousin, decides to drop her into a sixty-eight year old human man’s bed. This might not have been so terrible except for the fact that when Noelle wakes up, the gentleman is dead! Before she can think of the right spell to get her out of this mess in walks another problem in the sexy form of Jacob Sanders. Jacob wants answers about his wild uncle’s last night and he’s determined the naked woman in Ed’s bed will spill the beans. He is not about to buy her story that she’s a witch, even if she seems to have cast a spell on him from the first moment he saw her. The adventures continue as Noelle’s three madcap Aunties decide to intervene, the police get involved and Uncle Ed’s body disappears. Jacob and Noelle must learn to trust what they feel for each other no matter how outlandish the truth may be!
Nights in Black Satin starts off with a wildly improbable situation that becomes easier to believe as you read more about this somewhat whacky family of witches. This story has a lighter feel than many paranormals, comic touches and snappy dialogue carries through to the end. Noelle and Jacob come to realize that their attraction is mutual and runs as deep as their initial annoyance with each other. When they indulge that chemistry it’s like lightning strikes! The sensuality is smoldering hot and makes a wonderful part of their star-crossed romance. Jacob is a sexy hero, up to the challenges of the wicked cousin as well as Noelle’s well meaning Aunties. Noelle obviously loves her family and strives to do the right thing no matter what her own desires might be. Overall Nights in Black Satin is a sexy, fun bit of truly magical romance that will leave you smiling.
