Ryan can't help the intense feelings he feels when he drinks from Isabel. When she comes back alone he drinks from her, but he loses control something he has never done before. He soon realizes that his feelings for Isabel are more than just infatuation, but how does she feel about him knowing what he truly is? There is a new threat to Ryan's newfound love, someone is killing people and that someone is a vampire, when all signs point to him can he prove his innocence?

This is Elizabeth Donald's first book and is very good. There was sometimes that I wanted to scream at Isabel to wise up, but this keeps in line with the story. Isabel is strong willed and determined to stand up for Ryan. Ryan comes off as really very sweet and sensitive and will make you melt. The sex is mild by erotica standards, but compliments the story. You can get confused at first because you wonder if the story is about Isabel and Ryan or Isabel and Duane, this is made clear later in the story. I will look forward to more of Elizabeth Donald's work and recommend this book.
