Echo Smith had come to a point in her life where she realized she may never marry and have children. Her closest relationship is with a man that had become her guardian when at sixteen when she needed rescuing from an abusive situation. Jax had become more like a brother than anything else over the years but sometimes she gets the feeling he would like more.

When she returns from working on a book in England she discovers she has a new neighbor. Blair Bennett is her new handsome male neighbor that seems to constantly be experiencing one misfortune after another. Through it all Echo is there to lend a hand. It doesn’t take them long to begin to fall in love. But family and past relationships seem determined to cause problems. Blair and Echo will have to decide if they care enough about their relationship to deal with all the baggage that they have to sort through.

No Doubt is a story that deals with the complications that can come with a modern relationship. Compelling characters try to have a relationship while trying to deal with family, friends, relatives and ex-spouses. This fast moving story will quickly have readers interested in how it will all turn out. It may also have readers asking is love really worth all the problems as these two characters seemed to face one obstacle after another.

Echo has a troubled history that causes her to have difficulty trusting others. Her story will amaze and fascinate readers. Her vulnerability in relationships is easily understood and readers will be able to empathize with this character.

Blair seems to have experienced many difficulties and continues to have problems. His story is complicated and readers’ reactions may vary. Sometimes it seemed he was manipulated easily by others and felt it was easier to just give in them than to stand up for himself. It is easy to understand his point of view but sometimes it just made this reader angry.

Both of these characters struggle through their personal difficulties and eventually give in to the growing feelings between them. Things do not come easily for them, of course nothing else has.

Mistakes and misunderstandings will have to be overcome. After dealing with all that was going on in their lives though I wonder where they got the energy to attempt a relationship. Readers can only hope for the best for the two lovers.

Emotionally stirring readers will easily be able to relate to these characters. What would I do? That is the question readers will be asking themselves if they were placed in the same situations. No Doubt by Sandee McCann is recommended for the readers’ entertainment.
