Melinda Kent loves the ranch she grew up on but her over bearing brother Russ and her demanding father are more than she can take. She's in love with Kyle who's a ranch hand but doesn't think the men in the house will ever approve or let them be together. For now everyone on the ranch is in an uproar about the theft of all the L's from the signs on the ranch.

Sydney Shay writes a cute tale of two seventeen year olds finding ways to be together, sure of their love. Ah, young love!! The author gives us a little well done suspense over who's stealing the letters from the signs. Some of the family dynamics similar to what many of us are aware of and lived through may bring a smile to your face. It did for me. This is a sweet Christmas tale of irrepressible youth and the shenanigans they, and many of us, will go to for love. There's a cute twist at the end sure to bring more smiles, or, to some of us, smirks over battles won with our siblings!
