Mark Goudy and Weston Scott have been friends all their lives. They grew up in the same town, got into mischief together, told one another secrets. The one thing they didn't confide in one another helped drive them apart for years. Wes became an Anglican priest. Mark went off to the excitement of London. Now they've shared their love and desire in a night of passion that may drive them apart even more.

The writing duo known as Jamie Craig has penned a rather unique tale. Not many have taken on the challenge of writing a sensitive, compassionate love story between a priest and his best friend. Both men are superbly painted as having such a deep love for the other that they circumvented the problem by avoiding it. Mark went to London to bury himself in promiscuity, always looking for a substitute for Wes. Wes clings to God and emerald ring that he uses to avoid letting himself be a sexual person. He has decided that what he can do for others can put his own needs and feelings on hold.

The authors give us excellent, loving eroticism as well as great dialogue between the two as they finally share their deepest feelings. Both seem willing to accept one night of passion, one night of baring their souls to finally let go of everything they've held in for so long. But, can sharing so much of themselves ever be undone? Can they go back to the way they were or will it cost them the friendship they tried so long to protect?

I think these two authors have built a great romance, more sensitive than many dealing with gay relationships. This is a great read.
