Gabriel Delessan is said to be as cold as stone. He is an enigma that no one really can figure out until Tranquilla Caden steps into his home. She can immediately tell he is going to be more than a challenge. He is certainly not going to be an easy man to be a Handmaiden to, but she is not willing to give up easily. Gabriel is not happy with anything and nothing Quilla does will change his feelings. As they fight and bicker, with one another, over even the pettiest of things, deep inside a rare romance starts to blossom between the two. Quilla knows this will never work because she did not come there to fall in love with the man, especially when he already has a troublesome wife. Yet the more common bond they share together, the more love grows between them, until neither can stop the urge they feel toward the other.

I absolutely love Quilla and Gabriel. They are robust characters. I love the part about the breakfast, and how they were always almost at each others throat, playfully. There were other lighthearted parts where this reader could very well visualize their expressions; and the wife, well, let's just say, you have to read this book. No Greater Pleasure is indeed a delight from start to finish. Megan Hart has fashioned a remarkable read that is downright irresistible. I like how even the other helpers soon quaint themselves with Quilla and recognize she is indeed a nice person. I think not only did Gabriel learn lessons but Quilla, and the staff, all had something to contribute as well. The emotions really cut to the heart in this compelling read. This is really a wonderful book that spins a story that should not be missed.
