Wade could not remember much about the night before. He knew he had gotten into a fight with Nicole and then went to his friends and gotten drunk. When he woke up and found Jamie Sayer in his bed he was in trouble. When Jamie announced a month later she was going to have his baby Wade’s world came crashing down. He was head over heels in love with Nicole but he would have to marry Jamie instead. Five years later Wade decides to move him and his daughter Abby to a little town called Monticello, Jamie had died and Wade wanted a fresh start. Nicole and Wade were both shocked when they ran into each other in the grocery store hundreds of miles from where they met. After seeing Nicole again Wade realizes how much he still loves her and vows to get her back. Nicole wants nothing to do with Wade or his daughter, just seeing them brings back too many painful memories for her. Abby reminds Nicole too much of her son that died, the son Wade never knew about.. All I can say is WOW!!! I could not put this book down, Shawna has written an incredibly emotional story that had me captivated to the end. Don’t miss this great book and have a box of tissues on hand you will need them.
