Liv Crowley agrees to pose as Riaden Osbearn's wife for the winter, trusting her instincts when she has no reason too. Riaden is mysterious and sexy, but he's only around at night. Her mother-in-law and siblings are rude and try everything to get rid of her. Liv knows Riaden is depending on her to last the next few months, but she's not sure she can handle the artic temperatures both inside and out of the house.

Riaden has secrets of his own and hasn't been totally honest with Liv about why he needs her to stay. Being a polar bear shifter does have its draw backs, especially when you also have a curse to break as well.

I enjoyed getting to know Liv and Riaden. The author showed a good connection between them that was believable and kept me reading. I thought Liv's inner turmoil with her own secrets was also well done. The author ramped up the sexual tension from the very beginning, leaving me anxious to see them hit the sheets. While I enjoyed the main characters, the final confrontation with the mother-in-law just didn't work for me. Overall I thought the book was good but just that...good.
