| Gwen has been in a mental hospital ever since she cut her wrists, of course that is not the real reason she is there. Her mother put her there after she claimed it was a werewolf that she saw in the road the night her father was killed. She stays drugged half the time so has no clue as to what's going on, the only thing she does is draw pictures of hideous beasts. Then she is taken away from the mental institution and finds a place with warm and caring people. Only problem is the man who took her claims to be her mate, can Gwen figure out what he's hiding?
Eben is a werewolf who knows from the second he smells Gwen that she is meant to be his mate. He can't leave her in the institution so he takes her home to his father. Of course he knows about her drawings and fears of wolves, so how can he tell her that werewolves do exists and that he's one of them. She already fears him and he is willing to give her time to adjust, but he can't wait much longer before he claims her. Will she understand what he and why he took her or will she reject him and run and fear of what he is? This is a great story that readers will come back to again and again. You have to admire Gwen for all that she has been through; she still stands on her own two feet. The mystery of who the mysterious wolf is that caused her accident is a question right up until the end. Eben is a dark and sensual hero that readers will love and won't be able to resist. The love scenes are hot with an animalistic quality that wolfie readers long for. M.A. Everaux is off to a great start with a story of a tormented woman who finds love and so much more where she least expects it.
