Thanks, But No Thanks

Rather than being alone again for Thanksgiving, Kari accepts her friend Rhonda's offer to join their family for the holiday. When Kari is offered to be set up on a blind date, she says "Thanks, but no thanks." At Thanksgiving, Kari had a great time talking to whom she believed to be her friend's brother. Too bad he's married. Fortunately for her, not all the good guys are taken.

In this quick fun read, you will find yourself with a huge smile on your face. You can't help but be hopeful for Kari and her situation. This is her first thanksgiving without her family since she moved away to start her new career. The comical relationship of Rhonda and her husband Harry will have you snickering right along with them. They made wonderful support characters for Kari and Nick. You may think this book has the elements of a case of mistaken identity theme, but it is so much more. This book is the start of a great relationship for Kari and Nick. While left satisfied, I was also left with my imagination running wild thinking about their future together. If you enjoy quick fun reads that will boost your spirits during the holidays this is one book you should read.
