| Ryan has to get married in order to fulfill the stipulations of his grandfather’s will, or he will lose the McKay Corporation. He thinks he has it all worked out, but when his soon to be bride walks out on him just hours before his time is up, he turns to his shy assistant, Faith.
Faith is a twenty-six year old virgin who thinks she does not deserve to be loved; thanks to her mother, she sees herself as being short, plain and undesirable to men. But she has been in love with Ryan from the first time she laid eyes on him. When he asks her to marry him to keep him from losing his business. It is strictly business, nothing personal. Can she be married to him for a year, as the will states, knowing it is only to save his business and that he will never love her? Or will Ryan see the real Faith, behind her baggy clothes and large glasses before it is to late? Ms. Burton has done it again. She has written a great love story that will leave the reader wanting more. I have read several stories by her and this has quickly become my favorite. Ryan and Faith are wonderful, lovable characters, and I thoroughly enjoyed going along with them on their journey of discovery and possible true love. It is a well written, touching story that I found I could not put down. Anyone looking for a great read will love this one.
