When Amber Warren was seventeen, her family was killed in a terrible accident that she somehow managed to survive. Her leg may have a very obvious injury but it's not the only thing that was gravely injured, so was her heart. She can't imagine any man wanting her when they can have someone who isn't scarred but she also knows it's safer to remain unattached. You can imagine then how hard it is for her to see that both Cannon O'Neil and Ryder Conti truly want her. In fact, they not only want her, but they plan to keep her. If, that is, they can ever get past the barriers she keeps putting up. Which is why they agree to Amber's idea of a fling. After all maybe, just maybe if they can find a small part in her life they can slowly make her see that loving her and wanting to take care of her is not the same thing as pity.

I loved this book. I really couldn't stop reading. The characters were very well written. Amber may be wounded, but she's also her own strong woman who you can't help but admire. Cannon and Ryder are strong and caring all rolled up into two hot ranchers. What could be better? I also really enjoyed the connection between Amber and her men. Not only is there mutual love and respect but it's also scorching hot with incredible sex scenes. I also absolutely loved Amber's customers, they were just a great touch to an already really well written story. This really was just the perfect balance to me of a great character driven love story, that also happened to be a smoking hot menage. I mean really, what more could you want in a story? Well other than to not have the story end!
