I really enjoyed this book. It has a really compelling story, with an intriguing world and interesting characters. I was really pleased with how complete a story this felt considering it's length. I can't think of anything that I felt was missing. Ms. Berkley does a great job of wrapping up the story and even giving us a bit of back story on the lives of the villagers and the Brendi, all while letting us indulge in the wonderful chemistry between Keeta and Ren. I'm definitely hoping that Ms Berkley will be writing more stories set among her Brendi in the future.
