Devon is desperate to save his twin brother, and now heir to the family title, from being murdered as well. Devon enlists Alex to save Christian Radborne's life and alter the history of Radborne Manor. The only problem is Christian Radborne himself. He is trying to deal with the murder of his twin brother and figure out who did it. He has no clues and when a strange woman, talking in a strange manner and dressing like a man, shows up at his estate she becomes his prime suspect. Now if he could just deny his feelings for her. Alex does not know if she should let him know who she is and how she got there, but she is determined to save his life by figuring out the mystery... and saving the man she is coming to love.
Ms. Templeton has succeeded in writing a fast-paced and quite brilliant time-travel story. Alex maintains her 21st century attitude and convictions while trying to blend into 19th century life. Christian knows something about her is not right he just does not know how different she actually is. This was a great mystery, a beautiful love story and a lot of fun to read. Highly Recommended!
