| Bobby Kendrick is a grad student in Chicago who really wants to meet the man he's been half in love with since he was a teenager. With the help of a friend he uses a private investigator to track Taylor down. So, what's this rich, popular author that he adores doing in a low rent district apartment in Kansas City? He decides he has to take his school break and find out.
The talented writing duo known as Jamie Craig just keeps giving me stories that are entertaining, well written and fun to read. Bobby Kendrick and Parley Taylor are an excellent example of opposites attracting. Bobby is young, gregarious, prefers to be monogamous and doesn't seem to be afraid of anything as he sort of confronts a lion in his den. Taylor is written as a man who wants no contact with people. He's turned from a promiscuous, bar hopping man sharing his life through his writing into a jaded, frustrated loner who wants only to be left alone to wallow in his misery. The authors don't make it easy for Bobby to break down his walls but, once he does, Taylor finds he can't put them back up again. This is the kind of excellent storyline, dialogue and characters I’ve come to expect when I see the name Jamie Craig on a book. The authors can be depended on to give me hours of good reading. This is erotic. It follows the players’ personalities as they’re defined. It seems like it could be a piece of real life. To me that’s one heck of a good read.
