| Rose Moreno has been in New York City less than a year. A broken heart helped her make the decision to leave the desert for the city. Now she may be headed for another broken heart. She¢s got a crush on a man at work who is probably way out of her league. When an East Coast snow storm strands Rose at the home of the Brian Garner she hears his mother on the phone talking about a woman he¢s been dating.
Helen Pilz writes a tantalizing tale of two people who are much more alike than they realize. Their values seem to be the same, she¢s struggling to see past his family wealth. That was the gauge her previous boyfriend and his family used to measure dating potential. Luckily Ms. Pilz knows that¢s not the way to build a relationship and writes a magical story of two people finding their own way without being guided by the rules or quirks of others. This is a superb Christmas tale.
