| Geoffrey Jones has had his head buried in work for years. He's fallen in love with nymphs from his book studies, and he wonders what it would be like if they were real and he met one. He wants to get out of his boring no sex life and find a woman who doesn't mind his absent mindedness. Maybe one that would find that trait attractive. Besides, he wants to try out his research on a nymph. See if he really does know what to do to pleasure one. It would be a dream come true.
The Pleasure Guardians have recruited Calliope for a special mission. It doesn't take much to figure out who they want her to please. There are not that many men obsessed with nymphs. She'll have her work cut out for her with this man. Her desire for him makes it risky to take on this assignment. She can't blow this job. Not when there is so much riding on it. The Nymph is a very erotic tale. I'm not sure if Calliope is actually a real nymph or not, but the book is listed as fantasy so she must be even though I had gotten the impression she was only pretending. Geoffrey is a cute and quirky character. Once you get to meet Calliope you begin to wonder if maybe there might be a happy ending for everyone. Of course, her desire for Geoffrey puts her job at risk, because the man makes it so hard to think. He wants to pleasure her, but she's supposed to be the one pleasuring. The one fulfilling the fantasy. I'd like to explore more stories in this world. Now that I've read The Nymph, I'm intrigued.
