Portia Da Costa's style of writing is beautifully descriptive and graphic. This made the whole reading experience enjoyable and fast. The story is told from the heroine's point of view. Her antics and internal dialogue had me giggling on many occasions. The story is highly erotic, sexy, and very British. But then again Portia is British and so is the publisher of this novel. Object of Desire is a wonderful, hot, entertaining novella that will thrill readers wherever they reside.
