Anna is barely surviving by giving psychic readings to authenticate antique jewelry. She touches a necklace that gives her visions that haunt her days and invade her dreams at night. She meets a man who is too interested in the necklace and in Anna herself.

He protects her from her ex, bails her out of jail, gives her a job and a place to live. She finds him irresistible. She can't tell how he feels about her. He makes love to her and then erects a wall between them. He pulls her to him and then pushes her away. Then their lives begin to mirror her visions with too many coincidences and too many mysteries.

With an extremely intricate plot and fabulous character development, Ms. Morin spins a medieval tale by the mysticism of the Odin Stone and the repercussions of a desperate vow that have survived into modern day. She masterfully connects the two using the vehicle of Anna's unusual gift that she considers a curse.

The ancient story is told through Anna's visions and dreams caused by touching a necklace designed by a noble knight for his beloved. As Anna's life is changed by the visions that tell the story of purest passion, unselfish unrequited love, mistaken identity, adultery, betrayal and an accident of fate, the ancient wrongs are, once and for always, set right.

Great story, well written and even the paranormal explanation is satisfactory when you read carefully. I highly recommend this book.
