Jake and Tess are a couple made for each other. Without a doubt, I sensed their connectedness and the way they complimented each other. I liked the characterization and the way Jake and Tess worked together as a sexy couple and a smart team. My only criticism is that I did find the story tended to jump around a lot, with chapter breaks seemingly forced and the technical errors enough to become distracting. I also didn't find the story too realistic, but the characters won me over enough to go with the flow. I liked the energy and emotions of Jake and Tess and I was amused by the quirky secondary characters and charming small town setting. Even with the aforementioned flaws, this is a good read for those who enjoy witty banner with their steamy romances.
