Oleander House by Ally Blue is an intensely thrilling paranormal romance. The story builds slowly and as the reader progresses the feeling that something very bad is about to happen builds. It is a perfect story for the Halloween season. It will keep you on the edge of your seat. On top of that there is the sexual tension between Sam and Bo. Bo is clearly confused about what he wants. The reader waits anxiously to see what Bo decides and if Sam will press the issue. With the occasional kiss or touch that leaves Sam confused and completely frustrated, the reader waits. The tension builds as Sam has erotic dreams that change to nightmares. Are the dreams caused by his frustrations or are they a premonition? Oleander House is a wonderful story where the reader never knows what will happen next. It was action filled and full of surprises. The passion and frustration between Bo and Sam is tangible. The horror that something is coming and you can’t stop it is truly scary. One of the best books I have read and highly recommend it to others, Oleander House by Ally Blue is a tension-filled passionately exciting paranormal mystery that everyone is sure to enjoy.
