Shannon Phillips was on her way to her grandfather's cabin. Though she had been warned at Ft. Laramie that she would be traveling in Indian territory, she still insisted on going on. Her driver is a questionable character. Otis Pratt watched Shannon as she scanned the landscape in search of Indians, his gaze was more on her than anything else. Not far from the fort Otis stopped the wagon and felt it was time he got paid for his services and he wasn't thinking of money. As he proceeds to rip her dress, Shannon fights for a chance to be free and see then sees a lone Indian on the cliff. Pratt follows her gaze and grabs his gun as the Indian begins down the slope.

Before she knew what was happening Shannon tries to stop Pratt from shooting the Indian and he proceeds to punch her, knocking her out. She kept drifting in and out of consciences when she notices the Indian touching her cheek and speaking in his language to her. He takes her in his arms and together they are riding. Still dazed, Shannon only knew she felt safe in this man's arms.

Adam Eagles Wing had come to this time through a portal that he had invented. A man from the future had come back to the 1800's to see how his ancestors had lived back then. He had done this before and seen other eras in history and he sent others back. The one rule was they are never to change anything for it would effect the future. By saving Shannon from being raped by Pratt, Adam had altered history. His problem now is that he had to rectify what he had changed. Shannon was to have been raped that day and nine months later would have a son and so on...

How was he to tell this woman that he was from the future and more over how was he to tell her she's supposed to have a child without being married?

Shannon has no reason to not believe him but still a man from the future? Somehow this woman from the past and the man from the future find that they are soul mates separated by time and soon Adam must go back to his time and leave the woman he has fallen in love with. Will he be able to leave this woman who has captured his heart?

From the first page the reader is captured by these two people and wants to see this romance last. We read their trek to her grandfather's cabin and find the passion that they both share along this journey. We want them to stay together and find happiness in whatever time they chose. Sensual and romantic is this story and if I could I would give it ten hearts. Loved it!!!!
