| Michael Richardson receives a phone call in the middle
of the night telling his son had been kidnapped and to
come one to The White Inn. Michael races out off his
apartment to save his son. Michael calls Cassie to
make sure that this is not a prank that has gone bad.
Cassie receives a call in the middle of the night from her ex-husband asking where their four year son David was. When Cassie looks for David in his bed she finds him missing. She demands answer from Michael. Michael tells her to contact his partner Jordan Callaghan for back up. Before Michael can tell Cassie anything else his car is run off the road by an on coming car. With Jordan’s help Cassie searches for her son and for answers. But they only find more questions. As witnesses start to disappear the threat to Cassie grows closer. Cassie guilt over Michael’s death could keep her for reaching out for the loves she deserves with Jordan. One Eye In The Darkness is a rollercoaster ride that will have the reader gripping the pages for the next thrill or chill. The characters have a depth to them that make them believable making you want to see how their story will be played out. Lori Derby Bingley gives the reader just the right amount of red herrings to leave the reader guessing until the very end making it an exceptional piece of work in my opinion.
