| I feel as though I've just returned from Dinas Bran where I sat to sup with Celtic King Elisedd and his son, Prince Blaise. I, in pretense, was the high-spirited Ricole of Mercia, a Saxon princess held prisoner in the Powys impenetrable fortress-- a prisoner to be bargained back to my father, King Aethelbald of Mercia. But alas, my fate if returned, would be a forced marriage to the disgusting and loathsome King Cuthred of Wessex in order to build an alliance for my father. Can the Prince who holds Princess captive also capture and hold her heart? And when she is doomed to be ransomed back to Cuthred, will the Treasure of Bran keep Ricole where she belongs? One Heart One Way is a delightful historical about the warring Celts and Saxons. Although there are scenes of true historical battle, author Cornelia Amiri, does a wonderful job of making this a light-hearted, sometimes even humorous tale of love and romance. I highly recommend this book to anyone who loves a well-written, captivating story.
