| After his ban, Jake returns to Langley's Pleasure House. Even if it is only to soak in the atmosphere, he is more than happy to be there. When the owner makes him an offer he can't refuse, Jake must decide where his life will go from here. Will he try to be the Dom Langley sees in him? Or will he turn away and give it all up?
There aren't many books that make an impression on the reader as much as this one did with me. Jake thinks he has it all but when his sub dies. Jake's world comes tumbling down around him. Watching Jake begin to transform into the Dom that he can be was a great read. Deep down we see that he's a good man and not as cold hearted as he appears to be. I enjoyed the emotions that both men share in this book. As each man shares himself, we see the depth of their emotions and realize that they are human and hurting. Hopefully the two can help each other heal. This is one of those books that sticks with the reader even after they have finished the book and has you wondering what more will happen between Jake and Langley in the future. This author did a wonderful job of pulling me into the story and keeping me entertained all the way to the end. I hope that we get to visit Langley's Pleasure House again.
