This is the first story I’ve read of Ms. Havlir’s, but I’ll tell you it won’t be the last. Not only is she able to capture the passions surrounding BDSM play, she also has an unnerving ability to convey the emotions flowing between Lily and Michael. Lily is a strong and determined character in a difficult situation. I found her to be an empowering character after her night with Michael and my heart went out to her while she tried to heal from her pain. Michael, unfortunately, got a bid of a bad wrap in the beginning since he was blind to Lily’s obvious charms, but he easily redeems himself before Ms. Havlir pens “the end” on the story. Without delving too deeply into the world of BDSM, Ms. Havlir gives readers a passing glimpse into the world of spankings and blindfolds that is sure to appease and entice the curious readers of today.
