He was everything she did not want in a man. Sure. He was sexy as sin but there was no way Roxanne McNamara would get involved with another man. Especially one who was as confident of his masculine appeal as Boothe O’Brien seemed to portray.

Women flocked to his bed. Boothe had his pick and he rarely returned. Then he meets Roxie. Sparks fly. Boothe is smitten. And does not have a clue what to do about it. Meanwhile, Roxie is thankful that in a few short hours, an ocean will separate her from that obnoxious man. For Boothe though, it is a challenge of his manliness that suddenly plays out when Roxie and her son, Aaron, move to England.

Roxie is never given a job description until the end but it’s definite that as a single parent, she had an income from somewhere all along. It is also a wonder as to why Roxie choose to move near her cousin, Nikki, over moving to another city somewhere in the United States. While there were not clear, the plot is intriguing for the characters push the story onward to a fast explosive conclusion.

Nicole has a good eye in finding and implementing true-to-life tales. Disappointment is possible, however, for there is virtually no back story to make the fiction believable and the erotic touch is nowhere near steamy.
