This anthology is a compilation of eighteen marvelous love stories. There isn't an average one in the bunch. Each author seems to excel at telling the story of instant attraction building into something much more. The tales span the globe and encompass the many ways two people can meet and fall in love.

In a hospital in Iraq a grieving Jaysen falls in love with a wounded Ukrainian soldier in Waking Up by Ava James. In the Scottish Highlands Matthew learns swordsmithing and falls in love with Rhianna who seems to be from a different time in When Time Stood Still by Kathleen MacIver.

True love isn't only for the young as Maryann Miller shows us in New Love. Patrick, who's now eighty, and the woman he's been attracted to for years, Jean, a sprightly seventy-six, are finally both single and intend to make the most of the time they have left.

Gwen Hayes helps two people realize that they've been in love for ten years in 5 a.m. on a Sunday Morning. Goldie and Martin met when she walked out of a store with a tube of mascara in her hand. Imagine an accidental shoplifting turning into romance! M. E. Ellis builds a powerful love story between Goldie and Martin as we share their lives in I Heard You, You Know.

This is only a small sampling of the tales in the book. Each one features different people, varying times and circumstances with the simple theme that true love can happen anywhere, anytime. There are stories that will remind you of your first date, first love, first kiss. It may remind you why you married the man who sits across from you at breakfast just in case your memory has worn thin over the years of marriage. The writers remind up of things we may have forgotten. They give us hope for new beginnings. But, most of all they give us some excellent romance in a book that you will hate to put down.
