| Tasha is a happily married woman with an incredible husband and two kids. She's getting ready for a weekend vacation with her husband Alec to his best friend Quinn's lake house. Tasha is still so in love with Alec, their marriage (and the lovemaking) just get better and better. Alec and Quinn were college roommates, but Alec met her first. She's a little nervous about this trip since she and Quinn have been attracted to each other since they first met and he is always very obviously flirting with her.
When I first read the blurb for this book, I thought it was going to end up being a Tasha sandwich after Alec and Quinn being together. No, this isn't that kind of story, but I think it would have been better as that. There was a sandwich of sorts in this, but it was a Skye one. Skye is Quinn's new wife and both men are very attracted to her. Keep in mind, most of the story is very hot. I can't criticize those parts of it. Ms. Butler wrote the whole 'sweetheart, you should just go for it' with Quinn pretty well. I like the few uncomfortable moments between Alec and Skye then Tasha and Quinn. This story made me a little uncomfortable. I don't know if I would have felt that way reading this when I was single, but it was still a very good read. Alec and Tasha are pretty awesome together throughout and I really liked Skye. Yes, it has a happy ending, so as long as you don't have buttons like mine you will love it. I was smiling at the end, it was so good.
