What's Melissa (Mel) to do when her boyfriend leaves her while she's on a business trip? Burn his things in the kitchen sink of course. What's Jackson, a recently divorced fireman, to do when he his fire department is called to put out the fire started by Mel? Yell at her of course. What happens when Jackson returns to apologize to Mel for his caveman attitude? Watch sparks fly.

Mel and Jackson are trying to recover from bad breakups, while denying the attraction they feel for each other. Jackson has sworn off women and doesn't want to want Mel, but her quirky behavior draws him in anyway. Mel is hurt by the rude way she was dumped and doesn't think it's a good idea to jump into anything again so quickly.

I knew I was going to like this book from the start. I was already laughing at the things that were going on and that humor is what immediately sucked me into the story. Mel and Jackson were very likable characters and the chemistry between them was hot. Whenever they were around each other, there was always a scene that made me giggle out loud. I also thought they were very sweet together. I loved Mel's friend, Tabitha. She was a hoot and I liked the antics she went through to try to play matchmaker. This was well written and I couldn't wait to finish it to see how things were going to turn out for Mel and Jackson. This was such a delightful, cute and humorous read that I recommend to all romance readers.
